Your puppy used to race to you whenever you called but now takes off for entertainment elsewhere. And your newly adopted dog gives you that “You talkin’ to me?” look. No matter how often you call, they seem to have important business elsewhere, while you stand helpless and anxious with a cookie in your hand. Sound familiar? It doesn’t have to be that way. Using a large variety of fun exercises and your dog’s favorite rewards, this class will take a grounds-up approach to convince your dog that responding to your call is the most exciting thing in her universe, even if there’s a squirrel reunion in your yard. Success will depend on your commitment to work with your dog for at least five minutes a day.
4 weekly one-hour sessions, limited to six dogs
Starts: Saturday, November 7, 3 pm
